I'm really sorry about your DBF's job. : ( I was laid off a few years ago right before I was scheduled to have surgery, and of course I lost my health insurance. But I got throught it, and you guys will too. Hang in there, and focus on your wonderful Disney memories and your NEXT TRIP there!

I'm so sad to hear about your DBFs job... But I'm so glad you are back... And I can't wait to hear ALL of the details about your trip!!!!! I know everything will work out with the job... I'll keep my fingers crossed for you and DBF.
Cannot wait to hear about the trip!
Oh no! I hope he didnt lose the job just because of taking vacation.

I am excited to hear how your disney vacation went!!!
I also want you to know I am thinking of your DBF and I have said a prayer and will continue to pray that everything works out with his job. I am a firm believer in everything happening for a reason. It will all work out.

I know the feeling about a loss of Job quite well. It never comes at a good time. When we went on our Disneymoon in October, I was waiting to hear if I got a new job. It was supposed to start after our honeymoon but I never heard back from the guy. We went on our honeymoon and had a great time and then my wife told me on the flight home that the guy had called the day before our wedding and he said I was to start two days after we got back. I was relieved to say the least. So it seems like you got a great guy and good things happen to good people. So I am sure things will work out for the best. I am anxiously awaiting your trip report, as are a lot of others. So don't leave us hanging to long
Hey guys! - Before I start I just want to thank everyone for all of your support and prayers. We will find out tomorrow whats going on and hopefully things work out. I want to especially thank Our2Girls&Disney for the job offer - TODD IS DEFINITELY INTERESTED! 
Thank you! Okay so here goes - my first trip report! 
The Day Before.
Feburary 12th was a hard day for me! I barely made it through my classes and bolted out the door when the bell rang. When I got home I finished all my packing except for a few last minute things. Todd only had to work a half day and got out at 2:00 so it was really nice. We finished doing all our last minute things together and then had dinner with my family. We were in bed by 7:00. And I was asleep by 8:00
Todd Im sure stayed up way to late, but at least I got a LITTLE sleep. I probably slept till 11:00 and then just lay in bed until 2:30 am. I mean WHO CAN SLEEP WHEN THEY ARE GOING TO DISNEY IN A COUPLE HOURS?! Well.. i sure couldnt. At 2:30 am, Todd and I jumped out of bed and got ready. We packed our last minute things - you know those things .. the crucial things! I kissed Krull A MILLION times for about a half hour while we waited to leave for the Logan Express.
We finally left the house at 3:30. I was in capris and my crocs and I was FREEZING! It was so cold.. probably in the negatives. I couldn't wait to get to Orlando! We got to Logan Express way to early because we are total early birds. (Which worked out good for our ADR's!) We waited in the car for what seemed like an eternity. When it finally arrived, I started getting very nervous about everything. I had never left the nest - i was scared!
I hugged my Dad and Todd and I lugged our extremely heavy luggage onto the bus. We were the only ones on there who were too excited to sit still at 4:00 am. We were bouncing around and I kept giving Todd this smile that bordered on insanity. Im sure everyone understood that - WE WERE GOING TO DISNEY! We got to the airport pretty quickly and thats when the confusion set in. Now I have NEVER even been in an airport and Todd has only been with his parents, so we were both a little clueless, but we already had our boarding passes. We waited in a pretty long line - me smiling at everyone because I figuered - HEY YOU MUST ALL BE GOING TO DISNEY! even though none of them were! Oh and of course I see someone I know while waiting in the line. Leave it to Blayne to go to Logan Airport at 4 in the morning and find someone she knows waiting in the exact same line. Weird. So we said our hellos and our goodbyes and Todd and I checked our luggage. We then went through security - jeeze they were gruff. I was so bubbly and happy to be there and they basically just shoved me right through. HOW RUDE! 
Oh well.. I didnt care I was just happy to be there. I felt like such a little adult at the airport. I know - Im nuts! So we headed down to Gate 34 and parked our butts on the seats for a nice 2 hour wait. It went by very quickly though. Mostly everyone on our plane was going to Disney. Everyone was excited! We grabbed a quick breakfast at the Johnny Rockets in the food court area and by the time we got back it was almost time to get on. Here we are waiting in the terminal to board - <-- see check out all my new "airport lingo"! Im smooth huh?
They called us to board and Im of course very nervous!
Todd half drags me onto the plane. We find our seats - me getting the window OF COURSE! and Todd having to sit next to some man who slept the whole time. I was so scared at this point. We were right next to the wing -
My dad told me that if I took a picture on the airplane I would get arrested. I wasnt sure if he was kidding so I snapped two real quick with the flash off before we took off.
My first VIEW! -
I was nervous at take off, but fine in the air. I got a wicked bad headache, but besides that I was okay. It was pretty boring actually. There was nothing really on tv that early so I just read and fidgeted. I liked watching the sun come up from my window. When we landed I got so excited! I was bouncing up and down - ready to start my vacation! We landed and it was like walking into another world. I stepped out and was greeted by mid 70* weather instead of 16 degree weather! We peeled off layers of clothes and stepped in the airport. Orlando has a pretty airport. We were so confused though. We asked someone where to go and eventually found the Magical Express area. Where were the Mickey hands? Where was the magic? Nope there was none of it. NO ONE was there! We had to ask a bunch of people until the directed us to a spot that had absolutely no way of us knowing that it was Magical Express. We got the bus and I was hopping and all smiles. However did they put us in the pretty Magical Express bus ? Was this our bus ?
NO! We didn't even get to be in a Magical Express bus. We were in a Disney Cruiseline Bus. Where were the exciting movies I've so much about? Nope they weren't here! Oh well.. I would just have to make it magical for us!
The whole way to Pop Century we looked at the scenery. Wow is Florida different from Massachusetts! The houses are different, the animals, EVERYTHING! I was fascinated. Todd was convinced that we should move down there. He still is for that matter. We were glued to our windows taking it all in! It seemed like forever before we got to Pop, but we were FINALLY HERE!

I am so glad you got started on your trip report so soon! I hope everything works out with Todd's job situation and you are able to readjust to "normal" life. I don't think I ever have.
