Barber Shop for dd3 ??

I'am not spending $$$$ for an almost 3yr old to goto BBB !
Has anyone done this with a little girl for some glitter and a little hairstyle. I don't need a cut. She loves going to get her hair done So I imagine she would like this as well. What are the options there and are they less $$$ than BBB ??

I know they will pull the hair up and paint some streaks in it and put some "pixie dust" in it. Not sure of the cost, but I think it is about $10-$15. When we were down in December DS3 desperately needed a haircut. We ran out of time before the trip and knew our regular place would be packed when we got home (with everyone getting cuts for Christmas) so we saw the barber shop had a short line and went over. DS got a cut for $14 (I normally pay $12, so was a good value for us) and the CM saw my niece waiting with us and threw some pixie dust into her hair for no charge. It looked cute and my niece was thrilled to pieces. The girl behind us was getting the streaks/pixie dust in her hair and it looked cute.

We just did both the BBB & Barber Shop in Dec with our dd7. She thought the Barber Shop was great & liked it as much as BBB (but we have done BBB about 10x so it may not be as exciting anymore). It was $8 for a ponytail, colored hair gel streaks and pixie dust/glitter. We did not get a haircut but we saw them getting done & they did a great job. I gave the barber $10 for the color treatment.

My DD5 LOVED getting her hair done. She did get it cut then they did the gel streaks with pixie dust. got a TON of compliments. about 14 dollars, give or take. We had janet who was wonderful with her. While waiting there were like 3 other kids about 2-5 getting theirs done also and for the one little boy who was having a fit they stuck stickers all over him, gave him a toy, blew bubbles..etc..all sorts of things to entertain him..it was precious and i look forward to our next trip to do it again!

We go there every trip.

They are open 9-5 and do not take appointments.

The price is $7.50 for the color/confetti or free with a haircut ($14).
* Bring cash for tips because they can't add it to your cc.

They do not "style" the hair. They will just put it up in a simple ponytail. If you want something more elaborate, you could do her hair yourself and then just have them add the color and confetti .
