This is the weirdest threat. The thread title sounds like an indictment against Barbara Walters. Like she is responsible for her 44 year old daughter.

And this thread made it sound like she was dead. Like she died in a car accident. Between the two posts, I had to look up the details.

With threads like this, I will read the article if there's a link or Google for information. The article said her daughter has had a chemical dependency problem, that's why I pray for her to find peace.

I read about it yesterday. The article said BW talked about her DD's problems in her autobiography years ago.

Not a huge BW fan but not surprised that she doesn't want to talk about it, yet. I think she is probably waiting till she knows eveything before she talks about it.

I haven't watched the View in years but do remember that BW is not on everyday, so maybe she just wasn't suppose to be on today. Also maybe she has gone to be with her daughter. The daughter is adopted and they have had some problems in the past. I do remember seeing her on the View a few times.

BW is always criticizing her daughter on the air. She says her daughter never calls her; she talks to her daughter on the air-as if she/the daughter is listening. I'm sure Walters loves her daughter but she's obviously a very self-centered person(the mom) and I don't get a food vibe from her regarding her relationship with her daughter.

I sure hope the woman/daughter gets her act together. It's never too late. If she's been in recovery before, she knows what to do. Glad no one was hurt.

BTW, BW is rarely on the show on Wednesdays.

I would be astounded if BW didn't address this when she returns on air. I truly believe she will.
