HELP! We just returned from the Magic this Saturday and have been bitten by the cruise bug! When we booked this past cruise it was right after 9/ll and having no previous experience did not realize we got a great price. Now we are attempting to book for 3/15/03 and are not sure the best place to book. Cathy at Dreams Unlimited has been very efficient in contacting us/ also the vacationoutlet.com has given us a price. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks and have a great day

I can't really give advice :) but I can say I booked while onboard and the price was the same as you find on the DCL website sans the $200 credit.

We booked for 4/26 western cruise in Cat 6 (5624). We figure if something better comes along we can always cancel.

Nice to meet you all by the way... :)

Make sure you let them know that you are a Castaway Club member (returning cruiser). The cruise line should be able to find your club membership number, as they don't send the membership materials out right away.

With the Castaway Club, if you book within 60 days (I think, it may be 90) of sailing and sail within 18 months of your previous trip, they will give you a stateroom credit. The amount varies based on the category of stateroom, but I think it can be as much as $200.
