Bar with great atmosphere question

Hi, I'm planning my first trip. It will be my brother and me and we're both older adults. I'm not much on drinking but would like one or two spots to sit down and relax with something really refreshing (not necessarily alcoholic). Where are the really good spots? I was hoping to do one tropical theme (animal kingdom or Polynesian). Thanks for your help!

I would say definitely go Poly. They have the new place, Trader Sam's or something like that, which we have not been too, YET. But our favorite place to sit and have a drink is at the Tambu Lounge, up by Ohana. Granted it can get busy but they have great drinks both with and without alcohol, and we have been known to catch an OSU football game there as well.

If you're at the Animal Kingdom theme park, we used to love to sit at the Dawa Bar in Africa! Also, for a cozy spot, the Tune In Lounge at Hollywood Studios is fun. For something nice & elegant, go to the Grand Floridian! If you're at the Boardwalk and it's after 5, the bar at the Boardwalk Inn is nice and cool and quiet. My DH and I had a nice martini there once.

Minzer's at the Floridian, Crew's Cup at the Yacht Club, Tutto Gusto in the Italy pavilion at Epcot, Raglan Road, Rose and Crown, Tune In lounge at the 50's Café, Hollywood Brown Derby, ESPN Club, Splitsville, La Cava del Tequilla, Jellyrolls, Paradiso 37, and the pool bars are all great also. and if you are at the WL, try the Territory Lounge. It almost is hidden, and it is quite small, but is a great place for a relaxed time.
