Bar Locations...

This is my second Disney cruise. I am going n Feb. of 2015 and this year we are staying on the ninth floor in the back of the boat (dream). Last year my in-laws could only find margaritas at the bar out by the pool. They are wondering if there are only closer bars to our room. Thanks for any help!

There are a number of bars on the ship that would serve a Margarita... the adult lounges are on Deck 4 aft (rear of ship); there is a bar midship on Deck 3 by Guest Services (called Bon Voyage I think); there are bars and servers to bring you any drink you choose in most of the activity venues (i.e. D Lounge); you can have room service bring drinks to your room; sometimes the theaters offer drink service to your seat before the main shows; and of course, your MDR server will bring you a cocktail.

I"m sure I'm forgetting one or two locations...

I would think pretty much all the bars with the possible exception of Pink (champagne bar) could make a Margarita...

Now if you mean a FROZEN margarita, that may be limited, but I don't drink those so I don't know.

You can order pretty much any drink from any bar. They may not be able to make it at that bar, but you can order it. For example, we were in Skyline, the martini bar, and a guest ordered the drink of the day, it was something frozen. The bartender wasn't going to turn him away, but they don't have a blender, so he went to get it 'out back' but what he really did was go to the bar next door, which did have a blender, and brought it back.

Certain bars specialize in certain drinks: Skyline for martinis, Pink for champagne cocktails, O'Gills for beer, Cove Cafe for coffee and tea cocktails. According to the bartender we made friends with, most of the bartenders prefer you order drink of the day or frozen drinks from the deck, but you can order pretty much any drink from any bar and they will try to make it happen.

Meridian, between Remy and Palo's, is aft as I recall (deck 12? 13?). It's a very nice quiet lounge with an outdoor deck that we loved to sit in. I didn't have anything frozen from there but I'm pretty sure they have a blender. They also make some nice martinis and always had my favourite iced champagne. I'm absolutely sure they could make a traditional, non-frozen margarita.

We were on deck 10 midship and found it very convenient to pop up there.

Meridian does not have a blender, so they couldn't make any frozen drinks. However, they were great with giving us recommendations and we had some great drinks there. We spent quite a bit of time there our last trip. It's such a great location and so relaxing.

For me, a proper margarita is shaken - not blended.
