BAR IN BISTRO de PARIS?

My DH and I have ressies on the 21st (for our anniversary) and in case it is busy at the parks, we might get there a little earlier so we are not late.

Do they have a bar we can sit at in the restaurant-or can we just get like a wine close by and drink it while we wait? Come to think of it-is there a waiting area near the podium?

Oh, last question-we want a window seat (duh-like doesn't everyone?) Should we get there early just to request it?

I don't know if there is a bar in the Bistro, but if not there is a place towards the back part of France down a little alley (across from the Patisserie) where you can purchase wine by the glass. Forget the meal --- I skip to the best part ---- desert and wine!!

They have a very small waiting area near the podium where you check in - someone will actually escort you upstairs when your table is ready.

I guess you could request a window seat and see what happens - when we ate there in October 2007 we weren't lucky enough to score one. But it didn't bother us - we were more interested in the food than the view.
