Banshees

Can someone tell me exactly how much they are right now at Animal Kingdom and where to get them there? thanks!

Hi @TinkPearl, I moved your thread to the main TPAS forum so it gets more exposure. Banshees are available at Windtraders, which is the gift shop in Pandora by the exit for FoP. Hopefully someone knows current prices, I’m not sure.

Checked the ShopDisneyParks app and it shows them at $84.99. You didn't ask, but that seems like an awful high price for something that will likely lose its luster
in a short time. Perhaps others who have purchased will chime-in with their experiences.

That includes perch I believe. They should be around $60.

I don't recall the price, but i also saw banshees for sale at one of the stores on the oasis. I think it was the Disney Outfitter store, its the big store on the right of the oasis.
Previously, they had only been sold at Pandora, so i was surprised to see them for sale at another store.

My niece got one last week and it was $60.

My DD just “had to have” one of these last year, she played with it for a day and it’s been sitting in a closet ever since. We have a whole closet full of toys bought in Disney that they “had to have” lol. My youngest just rediscovered “My Pal Mickey” from like 15 years ago buried in there, and he still talks!

Yep, 60... my 3 kids asked for them last month. 180 bucks for something they would play with for 15 minutes at home and forget about... needless to say that was a no from me. Two of them got Pandora tees instead and the third got (a much cheaper) stuffed leapord.

My niece has had a Mickey since before she was born (bought at the parks when my sister was pregnant)

Her Mickey however is not the original, the original was lost when she was an infant, so Mickey was switched out with a backup that was hidden in the closet.

If this one gets lost though......

My 16 year old niece wanted one (since FOP was her favorite ride). DSIL wouldn't get her one, so DH and I did. She LOVES it! Has it in her room on her dresser reminding her of her trip.

I think this is one of those things where when you're in Pandora, it absolutely seems like the coolest thing ever. When you get it home, its cache is pretty skinny.
The same could be said of Mouse ears, except they aren't $60.

We went on a cruise (DCL) right after our last WDW trip. My kids had bought banshees and took them on the cruise. They were completely dressed up for pirate night and they used their banshees as the bird on their shoulder. As my kids were very adept at making the banshee appear to move on it’s own, the looks and reactions they received were PRICELESS. Captain Jack was the funniest by far, but even Staff and other passengers reacted hilariously.
