I saw a post on the DIS boards regarding a B1 survey and it prompted me to go to the website and send a note regarding how disapointed I am with the "rewards" they offer. I noted both the compitions 5% cash back offers and their reduced bonus offers including more and more restrictions on travel times to other resorts. Surprise! B1 sent me a survey also. The survey asks lots of questions and they state that it may only be availabel till April 8th. They said "Disney and Bank One will use the results for marketing research purposes and will keep your responses confidential." Guess I'll just have to wait and see, but I would encourage others who have opinions regarding the service or lack of to submit comments to the B1 comments section of the website. You may just get a chance to express your disatisfaction also.

Ah, the litte red card, "I Loved that card" until I saw all the fees I was paying. No Thanks, Spend a $1000 to get $10 back doesn't seem like a good deal to me. I really did like the looks of that card though, now its in threes.

I have to say that I've been very pleased with the B1 Disney card. Simply put, I just got back from WDW where I had $160 on my Rewards card. I used this to pay for meals. This is $160 I would not have had, if I hadn't had the card. Can't understand folks complaints about the card.

I review card offers in the mail frequently and don't find any that are any better than the Disney Visa overall. Most you have to use the points at their selection of stores or airlines and since I know I will spend the money at Disney, I figure that it's a sure thing I'm saving on, rather than getting $50 or $100 at Macy's where I never go or Circuit City where I hate to go.

But - I didn't reply to the survey. I don't follow any links from emails. If they want me to do a survey, they have to give me a way to login from the disney visa website.

I would be curious as to the interest rates they charge throughout the country.I live in NY and I think its about 12 % .I use the card but always try to pay it off.

..... $510.00 reward dollars. Not too shabby for two years work.

The Disney CC rewards for the most part are on par with other reward cards with the exception of paying a bonus for "partner" spending. I posted a thread over on the R&N Board concerning the B1 survey I took. I told B1 I want bonus rewards for using the card for Disney purchases.

I agree with Wolfpack Fan. I use our card for lots of business expenses and pay it off at the end of the month. I have $250.00 (plus some left in the account) for our trip in May. When we went on the DCL last April, we had $300.00. I like it because it is something I know we will use. I have rewards on other cards that I will probably never us. It works for us! :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

I too use the card for all of our expenses and pay it off each month. I also use it for many business expenses. Last year we took $250 on our first Disney DVC trip and then $300 for our December trip. Considering Bank One (now Chase) doesn't get any interest payments or fees from us, we consider it to be a great benefit! We are building an addition onto our house this year and I expect to use the card for much of the costs. Hoping for a free 10 Day Magic Your Way ticket and several meals for our July visit!

Sorry folks, you all must be millionares, to get $250 I need to spend $25,000.

I just don't have that kind of cash going onto a credit card, don't have any credit cards for that matter, can't afford them.

Just use the card to pay everything you can with it, groceries, cable bill, phone, cell phone, etc...adds up quick. Just make sure to pay it off at the end of the month

Ahh, that's my problem, didn't pay it off, I'm guilty, but no more. To each their own.

College tuition, wedding, Christmas, college tuition, 6 weeks in Disney, gas, food, college tuition.......

But my favorite points/rewards/rebate earner of all time is buying US savings bonds. Trading cash for cash & earning an extra spiff.

We get 5% back from our General Motors MasterCard, but it only accumulates up to $500 a year, and you have to use it to buy a GM car.

At least the 1% rebate is not tiered and you don't have to wait for a year to get your rebate.

From July 2004 until June 2005 BankOne increased my Disney Rewards to 2% of everything I charged so for that time period I was planning on using the card exclusively. But I just got a Citibank card which gives 5% cash on all grocery store, gas, and pharmacy purchases (up to $300 per year) so I am now using that card for those purchases. I also have a MBNA card that directly deposits 2% into my kids' 529B college funds. I continue to use my Disney Visa for all other purchases, but once the Disney Rewards goes back to 1% in June I will stop using it and just use the other two cards.

I use my credit card to buy and pay for everything - recurring bills, fast food, etc. It is amazing how fast it adds up and I always pay the entire balance each month. All of these rewards are like found money.

I took the survey. A couple of things mentioned were delayed interest on DVC purchases and discount on theme park tix. I have brain lock as I don't remember any of that. Also is there a Disney Visa website or just a bank one site?

Also used the Disney Visa for a great car rate last Dec - we had 8 days in a Full Size car for $163.

I too charge everything - gas, groceries etc - but the big tickets items are what makes it for me - I have charged my DVC add-ons, a new roof on the house, the driveway torn up and repaved - every thing large goes on the visa first and then I pay it off either with cash or load up my home equity.

And re: the 2% - the offers were all different for that - mine was to charge $800 per month on utilities, groceries, fuel - and get 2% on purchases after I get to the $800. Not even worth thinking about.

When I 1st got my card, I used it for everything. Then my Starwood card offered 3 months of 2x rewards so I used it. After a couple months of seeing very little activity on my card, Disney offered 3 months of 2x after $350.00 was spent each month. The 3 mnoths ended now I'm using my Goldpoints card because they have some current spiffs running. I'm wondering how long it takes before Disney sweetens their offer again.

For the most part my life now revolves around visiting one DS in Rochester NY, one DS in Newton MA and travelling to WDW. Free hotel stays at Starwood & Radisson properties are just as important as Disney dollars. I'll use whatever card earns me the most.

I took the B1 survey. I thought it was a little repeatative and lengthy, but I got through it. I really like my card and am happy with the 1%. DH and I use it for all large items and always pay it off at the end of the month. We are even putting our DVC purchase on the card. I am really looking forward to that 1% return for our upcoming WDW trip in September. We should have enough $$ for a 10 day park hopper no expiration ticket with a little left over. I do agree with a previous post that there should be an increase return for Disney related purchases.

I didn't take the survey since I am very concerned with fraud in emails.

I like the card and we have gotten over $400 at this time on it and have NO problem spending it at WDW (except that I often forget to use the dang thing - but since there is plenty of time for us as we take multiple trips, it has always gotten used before the points expire).

Two things I have learned....call them and ask for better deals (got my interest rate lowered that way) and keep an eye on how much is deducted when you purchase items at Disney. The first time I used the card at AK, the CM scanned it twice by accident, taking $15 extra off. It was no problem to get it fixed, but if I hadn't noticed, it would have been gone.
