Banking windows correct on member site?

The member home page tells about the new banking window, but under "My Vacation Points" I don't think my banking window is listed correctly. If I have an Oct. use year, I should be able to bank 100% up to May 31, right? Or, because my current use year points are 2007 points, do the old rules still apply to those 2007 points and the new rules will begin for me with 2008 points?

I suspect the "news" item is a lot easier to post than it is to implement the software for everyone's new banking deadlines. It may take a few days to get done.

Possible that MS/DVC gave drusha the wrong info, I suppose, but based on the written response from MS that she reported receiving, you are correct. You will have until May 31 to bank your 2007 (October use year) points.

Thanks, Carol. Now I need to hope that it is not too late to have my add-on from this past year added to my auto-debit dues for all my other contracts. I wasn't budgeting for having to pay now for the dues on 150 points.

Take this for what it's worth...

On the Disboards, I asked whether my banking deadline for 2007 points was January (as usual) for 100% or March, which is when my new banking deadline will be. Because the new rules go into effect on 1/1/08, I was told it was March, even though the points were deposited on 8/1/07. Because I got a couple of "I'm not sures" when I posted, I e-mailed Dis through dvcmember.com. Dis responded that my deadline would be 3/31/08. Based on this (I kept the e-mail), I have through 3/31 to bank up to 100%. This will be my new banking date moving forward (or until Dis makes changes).

Lastly, dvcmember.com still shows the 1/31 banking date.

On the site it says that I have no points to bank. I do have my new 25 add on points to bank. I know that i have until the end of January, which I believe is the new deadline for a June UY. I am sure that it is as stated above that it will take time for the software on the site to reflect the new deadlines. Although they did have time to get it written.

But they probably didn't want to load it until after the new rules went into effect. My theory and I'm stickin' to it, LOL.

Good question. I have an Octobe use year, too, and the site says I have until March 31 to book 100% of my remaining points. I didn't even think about the rule chance, I just was thinking I'd wait until March to bank. I guess I do have until May afterall.
