Banking Transferred Points

I recently transferred 44 points into my 2008 UY. They do not show on the DVC website, but MS assures me they are "in the system". IF I do not use these points in 08 (pretty unlikely) are they bankable? I was unaware that you couldn't borrow banked points, so want to make sure I understanding the banking rules.

The Home Resort rules clearly say that you can bank transferred points, but I have never tried to do so. The current wisdom on this board is that there is currently no deadline for banking within the UY, but this may change.

Not only are they bankable but thus far they have been bankable up until the last day of the use year and beyond any other banking rules (25%/50%/100%). That could change and might with the apparent banking rule changes upcoming.
