What are the banking rules if I have points from a cancelled reservation?

Points from the current Use Year may be banked through the end of the 8th month of your Use Year. If you have a June Use Year, the 8th month ends January 31. If you are beyond your banking deadline, you'll need to use those points for a reservation before the end of the Use Year.

If the reservation was cancelled within 30 days of arrival, the points are in the Holding Account (which means they can only be used to make another reservation within 60 days of arrival) and cannot be banked. They will expire at the end of the Use Year they were returned to after the cancellation.
