If we bank points say for 2004 would we have to wait till 2005 points come due to make ressie for 2005

If I understand correctly.

You will bank your 2004 points into your 2005 use year if this is the case, then you can make your ressie at the 11 month window (of your checkout date) at your home resort or 7 month at the others.

All points usage is based on the date of the stay, not when you make the reservation. If your dates of stay fall in your 2005 use year, you can make the reservation for that time at the 11/7 month window.
