Banking points

How many points can be banked? How long can I retain banked points? For example: I buy 160 pts use 0 1st year. Second year new set of points + banked for a total of 320. Can I carry over to a third year and so on? What is limit number of points / time retained?

You can bank up to 100% of your bankable points. Once banked, points would have to be used by the end of the UY they are banked into or they will expire.

If for example your UY is April so on April 1 2009 you will receive your 2009 allotment of points for dates APR 1 2009 through MAR 31 2010.

You may bank up to 100% of that allotment of 2009 points into your 2010 UY by
Nov 30 2009 THEN your 2009 banked points would be available to use
between APR 1 2010 and MAR 31 2011 and must be completely utilized by MAR 31 2011 latest.
Those banked 2009 points that you've banked are not bankable again and once you bank them you cannot move them back into their original 2009 UY either. However, you may bank 2010 UY allotment of points into 2011 UY if you banked them by Nov 30 2010.

Borrowing points follows same guidelines - if you borrow points into preceeding UY you must use the borrowed points in that UY - the borrowed points cannot be banked / moved back into their original UY.

You may have up to 3 UY's worth of your points in a UY with banking, borrowing & that current UY's points.
