Okay...just a bit confused. We have a December Use Year and have 65 points left for 2007 (Using 135 in September). When they say I have until May to bank 100% of my points do they mean 100% of total contract or what is remaining? The real question that I am trying to figure out is if I wait until August to decide and I can only bank 50% of my points does that mean 50% of the 65 points remaining or 50% of my total allotment of vacation points per year, which is 200/year?

You can bank up to 50% of your total allotment for the year. So you will be able to bank all 65 pts. left at that time.

I was confused at first too.

At the 50% point, you can bank, or already have banked, up to 50% of your total contract. (Total includes all Add-on's)

You have a 200 point contract. You use 135 leaving 65. You may bank all 65 because it is less than 50% of your total (50% of 200 = 100)

But, suppose you didn't make your reservation but were waiting. You bank 65 points during the 100% window, leaving 135 points in your contract. You do not make the reservation and want to bank the remaining points. But you waited until the 50% window. You can only bank an additional 35 points because 35 + 65 previously banked = 100 points which is 50% of 200.

Note, you wouldn't normally do it this way, but what can really happen is you bank the 65 points, and later cancel the 135 point reservation, while you're in your 50% window. You'd only be able to bank 35 of those 135 points.

Hope this helps
