Banking points question

I have 210 OKW points for my August use year from 2020 to 2021. I'm planning on staying at OKW in Jan 2022. Do I need to bank those points separately before I try to make a reservation? Hopefully this question makes sense.

When making it, the online system will give you the option to bank during the process as well.

It is just as easy to bank ahead of time, i Have used this option when I wanted to bank some and not all.

Online banking is easy. Go to member site and sign in and then under My DVC go to My Vacation Points, thenVacation Points Available to Bank, and then fill in information requested and bank the points. Banking is completed virtually immediately.
