So sorry one more question for all of you. I know I have been asking a lot and appreciate all the help.
when you bank points how long do they stay banked for?
so for purely example if I had 100 points and one year only used 75 and bank 25 points. Next year I only use 75 again can I bank those additional 25 points and now have 50 points in the bank, can I keep those banked points for some time and keep adding to the bank? Or do banked points expire?

Banked points expire 2 years from the date you originally got the points to use.
So if your use year is March, you’d get points March 1 2021. If you bank 25 of them them by October 31st 2021, you can use those 25 from March 1 2022 to February 28 2023. On March 1 2023 they are gone forever.

BUT

When you use 75 points in say August of 2022, you can use your 25 banked 2021 points and 50 of your 2022 points. Then bank the other 50 2022 points until 2023. So in that sense, you can keep a chain of banking going for a long time.

But at some point you will need to use more points than you have in the past. Otherwise, you will lose the banked points you didn't use. You can't bank them a second time.

When you roll bank points year after year, you're not actually rolling the banked points forward repeatedly. You can't actually bank the same points twice. As a previous poster mentioned, you will use your banked points first, which means you have more of the current years points to bank. You can keep doing this year after year. However you're banked points effectively cap at however many points you have in your contract.

In your example it would work as follows:
Year 1 - Use 75 current, bank 25
Year 2 - Use 25 banked, and 50 current, bank 50
Year 3 - Use 50 banked, and 25 current, bank 75
Year 4 - Use 75 banked, and 0 current, bank 100
Year 5 - Use 75 banked, and 0 current, 25 banked points expire, bank the new 100. Of course you should use all 100 banked so nothing expires this year. You could even use all 200 points for a big trip and bank 0 because if you don't...
Year 6 - if you did use all 200 in year 5, go back to year 1 and start the process over. If you only used 100, repeat year 5.
