Banking points question

I have a Feb UY at AKV and have a reservation for November at AKV-CL for 2 nights. I want to try to move to BCV or BWV to be closer to Food/Wine and do not have any 2013 points left. If I am able to get the reservation at 7 months (slim chance, i know!)...would i be able to use 2014 points and then bank the 2013 points from the current AKV reservation to 2014. I do not want to let AKV-CL go unless i get BCV or BWV for sure. Thanks for your assistance!!

Yes, since your Novemeber trip is in your 2013 UY, you can borrow 2014 points to book it. You can then cancel and bank those 2013 points, providing you are still within your banking window, which for February is September.
