When banking points, can you bank points multiple times in the same UY (e.g., I bank 50% of UY points and then bank the remaining at a later date)? For example, I currently have a trip planned for March 2021 (in Dec 20 UY) which uses roughly 50% of my UY points. I already banked the remaining Dec 20 UY points. If I were to cancel the trip, would I be able to bank these points? Or would these points automatically bank since I already elected to bank my points?

This raises a separate question: when banking are you able to bank a % of your points to the next year or are you required to bank all available points?

You can bank as many times as you want, and each time as many points as you want, as long as all such banking is completed by the end of the eighth month of your use year. Nevertheless, under no circumstances do points ever automatically bank. You must take the positive step of actually doing a banking. So those points coming out of a cancelled reservation would need to be separately banked.

To add, you can also bank while in the middle of making a reservation now. It will give you the option if there are bankable points!
