Banking on line?

I was wondering about banking points by e-mailing member services, in particular, how close to the end of the month is acceptable. Say for instance, I had forgotten to bank my points by the close of business on Friday, the 30th of March, could I send an e-mail on Saturday, the 31st to bank the points or would this be considered too late since the office was closed and Monday morning would be a new month?

MS does not check email over the weekend- and their stated policy is to respond within 3 business days. I would hate to miss a banking deadline because of MS being closed plus an email delayed response. I will assume that the answer is no......but if you have already missed the dealine (like 7pm on Fri nite) then it surely can't hurt to try, but don't be disappointed if it is not allowed. I sent a banking request yesterday (Thursday 3/29) at 2:33 AM. I got a reply at 8:38 AM confirming the banking. I don't know if this is typical, but it was fast enough for me.
