Banking/Borrowing question

Here's what I'm thinking and I hope it's not confusing:

At 11 months I make ressies for 11 nights at SSR. At 7 months I want to reserve 4 of those nights at AKV or BWV. In order to not risk losing both ressies, can I borrow points for the 4 nights and when that is definite, cancel 4 nights at SSR and bank those points? (those points were not borrowed and I would have enough time to do so) I don't have enough points to work this with one year's worth.

Yes, you can do that.

When are you going? Unless it is for a peak period, it's quite unlikely that you would need to worry about losing the SSR nights - it's very, very rare for availability to be so limited at SSR.
