Banking, borrowing and present points

I've a question regarding use of banked and borrowed points for making a bigger reservation.

If home resort is Wilderness and want to book at AK is that doable using banked points combined with current points within the 7 month window, and pulling from future year as well?

Example:
50 point wilderness lodge contract
2007 50 points banked
2008 50 points available
2009 50 points there

Can I if I'm in the 7 month window for a reservation now, say December 2008 reservation, use the 50 banked, 50 current, and pull 50 from 2009 to have 150 points to play with?

You can, but you need to know that December will be VERY difficult at 7 months.

December is busy at every resort, including OKW and SSR. That said, after Kidani opens and the "new" wears off, I think because of the relative size of the resort, it will be easier to book there than at BCV or VWL.

I do, I think AKV will overall be about the same difficulty as BWV.
