Banking and Borrowing question

I have a feb UY. If I want to use 09 points for an October 09 reservation...is it considered borrowing in order to book 11 months ahead if I don't have those points yet? Also if it is and I need to cancel...can I bank those points say in June?

No, an October '09 reservation falls in your '09 point use year, so you are using '09 points or borrowing '10 points if you don't have enough in your '09 use year. You can call to make that reservation in November of '08 at your home resort or March of '09 for other than your home resort.

Your points are taken out of the use year in which the reservation occurs. It has nothing to do with WHEN you make the reservation, but when the date of the stay is.

You'd be able to bank those points as long as you are within your banking window.

Since you have a Feb. use year, you would be able to bank the points up to September 30.
