I have over 20 contracts in my membership, we bought when we had the cash. I had a March 2021 Riviera preferred studio stay booked, and I noticed standard view availability. My stay was booked with VB points. I forget why I was on the phone with MS, but when she asked if there was anything else, I asked her to change the Riviera to that standard view. I have a March UY.

All seemed good, but yesterday when I was planning our December 2021 stay, I noticed I did not have all 80 VGF points in my membership, 40 + 40 banked. The Riviera stay was booked with those points and not the VB points that I had used!!

So, yesterday I did a chat with MS, explained what happened, and now the VB points are used. However, since SV cost fewer points than PV, why didn’t the original CM just use the points in the original reservation??

This is not the first time that MS has used VGF points when they change a reservation for me. We try to save our VGF points for use at VGF only!!

I have had that happen too. They rebooked instead of modifying. Last year it put points in holding and I had to call to get it fixed.

The other day it happened with a waitlist too, Took different points. It’s why I always end up doing my modifying myself.

Yes, that’s always better!
I looked to see where the VGF points were used, and it did show that they were used for the Riviera reservation. It is good that that feature is available to us.

By the way, it’s wonderful that you did have a recent stay, so now you have stayed at Riviera!

I have four contracts, and I always modify online and CHECK and double check my contracts. I'm not surprised they did it wrong, honestly.

I read a huge expose on a company that contracts folks to work for home for major corps like AT&T and Disney Companies. There’s a scandal over the treatment and promises as well as the standards and knowledge they expect people to uphold with no skin I’m the game. Everything falls on the worker, They can work for any of the companies they can afford to train for and don’t always get enough calls. One of the interviewees answered phones for Disneyworld reservations.
So we think we are getting CMs but we’re not...theh don’t work for Disney and they don’t work for this contractor (which is the issue).
