Have banked points i must use by Oct 2021. However, due to Covid we may have to once again cancel our reservations for april. This will be our third cancelation due ro covid. Is Disney allowing an extension of these banked points or am i going to lose them.

Try renting them earlier rather than later...

As suggested, no more extensions since all but VGC is open. Renting or depositing into RCI will be the only option if you don’t use them yourselves.

You will have no problem at all renting those points out. I had a bunch of points with a final expiration of January 31, 2021, and I was able to rent them all out within the last week for around $9 - $9.50 per point, many of them through an ad I placed right here on DISBoards. With an October expiration you will be able to get significantly more per point than I did. Responding to interested renters and checking availability is quite a bit of work, but it's worth it.
