Banked points

We have points we aren't going to use. The use year is in Sept, so those banked points will be available then.
Can I rent them now, or just offer to make reservations for someone? IF that is what we decide to do with them. We might rent them out to family. Either way, I have to make the reservation, right?

Since banked points can not be transferred you would have to rent a reservation. So any booking after the beginning of your Sept UY would work.
