?? Banked points vs regular

I have 300 points for June UY 2017. 150 are 2016 banked, 150 are 2017.

I want to make a reservation for February 2018. The points don't appear separated by banked/regular on the member site. When I make a reservation, will it automatically pull from the banked points?
I want to ultimately bank my 2017 points into 2018 UY and don't want to accidentally use them instead of the banked points.

When you you get to the page where you select the points to be used for the room you are reserving it should say that 150 are banked. The system will use the banked points first. When you get to the confirmation page it will show you how the points were pulled and give you a last chance to cancel if it was not the way you wanted it done. It would be a glitch if it didn't take the banked first - that should be automatic.

Yes, the system will take the banked points before taking your current UY points. If the reservation is more than 150, then it will pull the remainder from the 150 from 2017.

I would always check it though to make sure the correct points are used. It is easier to call MS right away than find out later you have banked points expiring.
