Banked points II

If I clear ROFR I have 250 points to use by Dec. 1, 2010. Can I transfer them? I can't bank them again, right?

If they were previously banked, you'll have to use them or rent them...or lose them. They can't be transferred and they can't be re-banked.

If those points were banked from the 2008 use year, they must be used before 12/1/10.

If they are from the 2009 use year, they must be banked before 7/31/10 or they will have to be used before 12/1/10. If you bank the 2009 points into the 2010 use year, then you would have to use them by 12/1/11.

Banked points cannot be transfered.

actually....If I make it thru....I get both...banked 2008 and 2009 points. Guess I'll have 4 months to do something with the 2008 points.

As soon as your points hit the MS website, you'll need to get a reservation for those 2008 points. The month of December is the worse time for getting a DVC reservation in less than 11 months. And pretty near impossible after the 7 month mark. Also there have been many posts right now that people cannot get a room during October. The Epcot Food and Wine, MNSSHP, a marathon, and couple of other events make October dates hard to get at last minute.

Good Luck on passing ROFR and I hope you get to use those 2008 points on the reservation you want!
