Banked points help

We banked our 2009 points into 2010. We are booked for April using banked points which has left 52 banked points.

I booked a trip for October (BLT SV Studio) (131 points using both banked and current points) now due to DH job we may have to postpone this trip to November.

I called MS yesterday to try and reserve our dates in November as I know how are the SV are to get - got some but had to waitlist 3 nights. Waitlisted nights only come to 46 points.

We will know when we can go in the next 4 weeks. My question is will MS be able to reallocate my banked points to my November trip or am I going to have to re-book and possibly lose our SV studio.

If we can't get all the nights we will switch to a LV studio - which might solve the banked points problem anyway! I just need to know so I can be prepared!

If all of your points are BLT points they should be able to reallocate the points that you are using without losing your reservation. It is when you have a different resort and are trying to exchange your home advantage points with cheaper(nonhome points) that they have to cancel and rebook I believe.
