I have just recently joined the Bank One team, and have learned that as an employee we get a discount (I believe 20%) on park passes. I am looking into more information..if someone has more, please post it!!! Thanks, Renessa

I have never heard of a discount for passes being that high for any kind of an employee, i.e. Disney or an affiliate.

if you find out, please let me know where it is available.

Thanks.

Well, I just printed off the info...and it is 20%!!!

As a part of the new Bank One / Disney alliance, Bank One employees are eligible to purchase Disney theme park tickets for Disney Land and Walt Disney World at a 20% discount. For more information please email EmployeeServices@firstusa.com .

Example prices for WDW: Four Day Hopper Full Price $211.94
Bank One Employee Price $169.55

They include a discount on childrens passes as well!

I think I will go work at Bank One!! That's great!! :D

Hi renessa,

Thank you!!

I have been working for Bank one for several years and I guess this must have just come after they offered the Disney Visa.

I have emailed the email you provided so hopefully they will email me back as to where to purchase the tickets. If you have any other info on where to get more details please let know or you can pm me.

We are leaving in June and I still havent purchased tickets.

Thank you so much.

Do you happen to know if Bank One retirees are eligible? ~:D~

SuzyQue- I don't know, this is listed on the internal computer system as Employee Vendor Discounts. If you are typically elligable for other discounts I'd be sure to stop by the branch and give it a try!!! Ren

Do you have to present a BankOne ID? Or is this something where a good friend/family member could buy the tickets for someone?

Thanks!

Laura

You might also check to see if that is only good for yourself.I know working at a travel agency. The agent is the only one allowed to get the pass. All others in the party have to pay full price.Travel agents get 50%of any type of park passes or a free one day pass.

I'm guessing that if it's valid on kids' passes that it wouldn't be a case where you could only use it for yourself...but maybe that someone in your party would have to have an ID or something.

Kellogg's employees have to fill out a form with their emp. # and address. At the bottom of the form it says that tickets can't be resold for a profit and must be used by employee and dependants only. Limit of 20 per calendar year.

These tickets must be ordered in advance, there is an order form available for employees. I am sure that if you were taking your kids or grandkids that you could purchase discount tickets for the entire family, just not selling them for a profit. Renessa

I did work for Bank One and my Mom still does. I researched this a good bit when it first came out as I knew I'd be using it. The employee fills out a special form and emails or faxes to the department listed on the form. They also give their cc number to pay. You are allowed to purchase as many tickets us to the limit as you like. It does state that they may only be used by family of Bank One employees, but there is no verification used. My sister is going in Thanksgiving without my Mom, but they let her purchase the discounted tickets for her. She called to verify it was ok first, and they said it was fine. They just want to make sure it's treated as an employee/family benefit.

I currently work at Chase, our merger with Bank One will be complete on 7/1... I wonder if I'll be eligible for the discount then? Hmmm.... I've put off buying tix this far... maybe I should wait a bit longer!

Christine....if you can hold out a little longer....I'd wait!!! I am hoping we get different uniform shirts. Do you have uniforms in the retail locations??? I'd love to chat if you'd like to PM me!!! Renessa

Renessa- I was at a retail location for Bank One, and they do have uniforms. However, although the merger will be approved as of 7/1, name changes and logistics such as uniforms, etc, probably won't be out by then. The Bank One uniforms were great for not having to think about what you need to wear each day! Hope all goes well with the merger. Bank One has screwed up every one they've done so far- maybe it'll be better this time!

Wow, I'm glad I stumbled across this thread! Thank you renessa for posting. My DH works at Bank One and I had no idea there was an employee discount on WDW tickets. Wait till I tell him! :)

I actually work in credit cards for Chase in Delaware... no uniforms here! But it would be nice not to have to decide what to wear everyday!
