Band Hero?

Hope some of you that are more video game savvy than I am can help me out. My nephews want Rock Band for Christmas and try as I might, I just can't find it for PS2, which is the system they have. Band Hero is available, but they already have Guitar Hero from last year or the year before. I was told by a gamestop employee that Band Hero is the "younger version" of Guitar Hero - with songs that are newer and more well known to the 15 and under crowd than the 80's collection on Guitar Hero. They are 11 and 8 - does it make sense to get them Band Hero if they already have Guitar Hero? We would get them the bundle -if that makes sense. TIA

The instruments for RB 1 or 2 will work with either the PS3 or PS2. The instruments may be purchased seperately. The game is 20 and the drums cost 30. If they have a guitar hero guitar they can use that. So all you need is the game and the drums and that is 50 bucks. Look on amazon it has free shipping.
