Band Geeks Unite!!!!

Wow, I haven't posted on here in forever...

My band season has been over for almost 2 weeks. This year was so awesome...freshman and sophomore year I was looking forward to the end of the season all summer but this year for some reason, the end of marching band was just depressing, lol. Most of my friends and I are in the highest level concert band, but some of my friends aren't...I miss my marching band friends!

Anyway, we had a really great season...our band now has 55 consecutive 1's, and 10 consecutive 1's at state. Our show at states was awesome...we weren't as big this year as we were in the past and there were a lot of freshman trumpets who didn't play all season, but I don't think we've ever been more powerful than we were at states. It was so cool...too bad it was pouring rain that night, but whatever.


Eva- that's horrible! At my school, most people don't love us, but they don't hate us either. My non-band friends make fun of me for being a band geek, but they're just teasing, and I don't think I've ever had anyone seriously dislike me just because I'm in band.

Our season has been over for about 3 or 4 weeks. I miss is alot. We got 7th at state. We were proud of it too!

Now it's pep band time and jazz band. I didn't try out for jazz band this year. But I'm doing pep band. Our first game is Wednesday! Sweetness. I love Gimme' Some Lovin' and Carry on Wayward Son.


Most of the people in our school support us. Well they do now more than before because we made it to state and it was the first time in 12 years. Woo hoo

i don't think im a band geek but i play the flute in a band and ive been playing piano for 5 years but not in the band but i hate my band it sux so i don't think im a band geek

i'm not a band geek but guyz in band (and theater!) are hott!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i prefer instruments like the guitar and piano!

well, our marching season is just about over. We have pep rally tomorrow night, where the band plays music and the guard has made up 3 different rountines (flags, dance, rifles) the flag rountine is to Chicago songs. My group has Razzle Dazzle. Pep rally is always fun!

and then wednesday night is the thanksgiving game against our other cross town rival. last game of the year.. boohoo

but then indoor guard starts, so yippee! We r either doing celtic music or a medley of DISNEY songs! Woohoo!!

Tomrow night is the Christmas Parade in town!!! They said last year over 100,000 people lined the streets. And not even that many people live there. We're also taping it for our audition to Disney. ooo, and perfect weather, it's snowing 19 degrees and a wind chill of 3 degrees! Yah anyway, its gonna be a blast
