lol we just go up to the school everyday and march and practice our music.

ya it probably is with ideas from past shows because our director took college band music(this year for that i think) and he makes a original drill every year

it is fun!
The only thing is that the slowest tempo for any of the songs is 132 i think. for front ensemble that's pretty fast. xD
the music is really hard too.

I usually play saxophone but for this marching season I'm on the drumline playing cymbals. We have dress up day this week and our marching show is danny elfman...i.e spiderman/beetle juice

I think this song in particular was chosen because our percussion is REALLY strong (and in middle school alone won an award when I was there) and we're pretty brass heavy (well...NOW we are)
If I heard a band play this in the middle of halftime and we were losing the game..., i'd be frakkin' motivated. It's so majestic!

ya our school in the county that isnt like that the one school near us nobody wants to go there and people are dropping like flies(suprisingly thats the second biggest band in the county)
and all the other band directors either quit or did something that they got kicked out of that position

Which I will totally do...It's just I never really had to do that before (beside district band) and...eek.
I'm kinda nutty with my instrument.

and sometimes, if the valves are sticky, i apologize to it, for being a sucky mother, and i'll give it baths if I have the time too...

thats so true and you arent a freak for what you do if you say the trumpet section(i know trhis cause im in it) you would call yourself kinda normal
