Where are my band geeks on the Teen board?

I play Clarinet in The Marching Band <3.

Ha ha I played clarinet in high school! I loved marching.

Then I was going to be in band at my college, but I had a really bad day during the first day of band camp and messed my foot up... so I got out of it.

I do miss high school band a lot, though!

I'm a band geek, too! I play clarinet as well. Nearly all of my friends are band geeks, too. I have a few friends who play trumpet, a few who play clarinet, a few who play flute, and a friend who's in percussion who plays various stuff from the keyboard to the tipani drums(I think that's how you spell it)

In our clarinet section, I'm 2nd chair out of like 10 and my bestie is 1st chair. Me and her both went to all-region tryouts but sadly we didn't make it into all-region band.

I enjoy both marching and concert season, but I like marching season better. I was on flagline last year, as well. I loved doing it and I intend on doing it next year.

Ooh yeah I was gonna try out for flags my senior year. But... I was in Disney during try outs! Ha ha... go figure! But I thought it was worth it.

im a huge band geek! i play clarinet as well . im a freshman and being in band has made high school easier. our school did an 8th grade night that made me want 2 join the band and we recruted some 8th graders this year.

at Band Camp, we got to take a nap on the feild! we were all so tired so it was just what we needed. aparently it happens every 5 years . and even now my friend and i are making plans about our room decorations because she has her mind set on winning the best decorated room award this year lol

i loved our trip this year. we went to islands of adventure to do Harry Potter of course (i would still want 2 go 2 disney instead lol). then we did a competition and got 2nd place. then we ended the trip at busch gardens. next year, Hawaii! SOOOO happy .

My senior year, May of 2009, we marched in Disney World! I loved it.
Only bad part was I, along with several other people in our band, ended up getting the flu... I was the only one with it that still went ahead and marched.
Haha... probably wasn't smart.. I was miserable and ended up in the hospital after getting double pneumonia.... but I don't regret doing it at all and I know if I didn't march, I would have!

I just went on a Band trip to San Diego last year,it was fun!
I'll never quit band,I hope to go to Disney with the band soon. <3

Never been on a band trip anywhere exciting like Disney, but my band director is promising to take us sometime in the future. That would be so much fun!!!

Just a little curious, but what music are you playing in your band? We're playing "The Tempest" written by Robert W. Smith. It's a fun song to play but really easy. I want something more challenging. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vD7ARLp7GEw
