Does anyone have a banana bread recipe for a bread machine? I have a new bread machine and some very sad looking bananas. If anyone has a recipe, I would greatle appreciate it!

Since no one else has replied....here are a couple ;), but qualified with "I haven't tried them" :teeth:

1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 cup mashed banana
1 1/2 cups white flour
1/2 cup whole wheat flour
1 tbsp. gluten
1 1/2 tbsp butter (or margerine)
1 1/2 tbsp powdered milk
2 tbsp honey
1 tsp salt
2 tsp yeast.

Place ingredients in bread pan. Set to white bread cycle. Walnuts may be added at 'add' signal.

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method
-------- ------------ --------------------------------
3/4 cup Buttermilk
1/3 cup Banana -- mashed
1 1/2 Eggs
1 1/2 tablespoons Vegetable oil
3 tablespoons Honey
1/3 teaspoon Salt
1/3 teaspoon Cinnamon
1/3 teaspoon Baking soda
1 1/2 tablespoons Vital gluten -- to 3 tbls
2 1/4 cups Whole wheat flour
3/4 cup Oats
1 1/2 teaspoons Yeast

Add ingredients according to manufacturer's directions
. Medium color setting. Makes 1-1/2 lb loaf.
NOTE: Watch the dough as the banana may affect the moisture.

I'm sure your bananas are long gone by now, but here is an excellent recipe that I use all the time:
2 cups all-purpose flour
3/4 cup sugar
1 teaspoon Baking Powder
1/2 teaspoon Baking Soda
2 medium very ripe bananas
2 eggs
3 tablespoons vegetable oil
1/2 cup (or more) walnuts
Put ingredients in Bread Machine (I usually put the oil, eggs and bananas in first)
Mix on the dough setting for 5 minutes. ( I use a rubber scraper to get the flour off the sides.)
Bake on the bake setting for approx. 1 hour and use the light crust setting if your machine has one. (My old one did, but my new one doesn't. It still comes out OK.)Check the bread by sticking a toothpick in the center and it should come out clean.
My DD doesn't like walnuts, so I put in chocolate chips instead for her. It's good either way!
