Bambi Twinkies box

I was going through some of my grandmother's old things and found a plastic twinkie box with a picure of Bambi and Thumper engraved on it. The box is probably from the 1940's or 1950's. The back of the box says "Twinkies The Nubone In Erie PA"

Can anyone give me any more information about this item.
It is collectible?
