Bambi Costume

My soon to be 5 year old wants to be a deer for Halloween but I can't find any costumes in her size. There seem to be reindeer costumes for babies or adults but none for kdis.

Is there any Bambi costume out there for a kid her age? Where can I find it? Thanks!

Can you sew? What size does your daughter wear?

If she can still wear a size 4, this pattern is available on Ebay. There are lots of them available. Someone who is proficient at sewing could probably alter the pattern to make it fit a size 5.

ETA: if you don't sew, here's one I found using a Yahoo search.

Even easier, you could just buy antlers like these or these (might be too big for your DD though) and have her wear brown sweats with black shoes and black gloves.
