I’m excited to watch it however it’s pretty clear that they didn’t get any active members to participate which makes sense - no one in Bama is going to risk their chapter. The closest you’re gonna get is former members, people who dropped out, and those who were actively rushing (and apparently even some of those dropped out mid filming).

However, it’s pretty cool that they’re actually addressing The Machine- how it works and how it actually plays into the state politics because that’s kind of cool. I did not think they would actually go there.

Will be interesting to see if it is a puff piece or they show the unvarnished truth. I would be shocked if they are going to air their dirty laundry.

After having two DD's go through rush in the midwest, the southern rush is a whole different animal. I think the documentary will be very interesting.

It’s a real documentary. Some of the participants who were in it or who dropped out midway because they felt it was presenting Bama in a bad light are talking about it on TikTok and how mad they are about it.

I still think they don’t have any actives involved in it. And I’m really interested to see how deep they dive into the machine. Do they keep it to school politics or do they talk about how it’s influenced state politics?

Is it true that Alabama has the most "intense" Rush of any University?

The thing that is amazing is how Bama Rush has gone International.

We were at Epcot in United Kingdom last Summer and some of the UK Cast Members were talking about watching Bama Rush on TikTok!

They said there was nothing like that in the UK.

They were FASCINATED by it!lol

Is it true that Alabama has the most "intense" Rush of any University?

The thing that is amazing is how Bama Rush has gone International.

I would think that the SEC schools have the most intense rush. I live in Georgia now and both my boys went to UGA. We happened to be in Athens one day during sorority rush driving down Milledge street. We drove thru what seemed like THOUSANDS of young girls who all looked the same. Same hair. Same clothes. Bet rush at UGA rivals that of Alabama!

My daughter just got home from Clemson, mark wahlberg’s daughter is in her sorority, rush was big but pledging seemed easy compared to when I pledged in the northeast, I’ll see if she wants to watch it. We were talking last night about how she looks identical to every girl on campus (something that actually attracted her to the college, she stands out here in little Ital).
