We are thinking about a very quick trip to Baltimore. My MIL lives in Maryland and we are thinking about surprising her with a visit next week. Airfare has dropped from Buffalo to $29 each way so we can't beat the price to fly.
I've been in Baltimore once last year to see my DB before he was deployed to the Middle East. I just spent one night there and stayed at the Marriott Airport.
I've wanted to visit the Harbourfront but I am wondering what do you recommend as a must see or do in this area. Also, I'm looking for any suggestions on a nice place to stay. If we stay in the airport area, is there an easy way to get down to the waterfront?
Thanks!

I'd recommend getting them at a place called Bo Brooks in Camden, another quaint section of Baltimore, that overlooks the harbor and is a fun place to sit and pick crabs and get a taste for what its like to live in Baltimore. If you like Italian food, go to my old neighborhood and the neighborhood my Granny still lives in, Little Italy. You won't be disappointed. Some other areas of interest: Babe Ruth's Museum, Fort McHenry, Federal Hill.
