*Baltimore Area TB DIS Meet* Information Post 1

Any "relatively close to Bmore" TB'ers here? Paula and I were trying to plan a DIS meet near Baltimore or Towson, MD. We think it would be a great idea to plan a get together. If anyone has suggestions of venues (that wouldn't charge us for a party) or any ideas, let me know! There's a rainforest cafe in Towson, which is about 15 minutes or so west of Bmore (depending where youre coming from) and Labour day weekend might me a good idea. Right now we're just looking for ideas, and nothing's official. Anyone think they'd be up for it?

I was trying to think of central locations because I know that people are scattered all over Maryland and I don't want anyone to have to drive super far.

You're not.
It's just that my parental units would go all RAWR hxc.
So I'm better off waiting until I'm old enough to be free of that parental RAWRness.

Mine too. She said as long as we don't have anything going on it shouldn't be a problem.

No one's coming off as snotty or braggish or "i'm better than you." It's a really sweet idea that will be fun for everyone involved.

I'd ask my parents, but it just wouldn't work out.
I know their limits when it comes to stuff like this.

I've only been to the Science Center. I think the Aquarium would be fun, but it's expensive, so that could leave people out, and it's sort of impractical to chat and such, you know? I think a resturant/shopping or something would be better so we can actually chat and get to know each other, etc.
