Balloon man in France

Does anyone have a clue who this gentleman is?
He's quite funny and most often uses children from the audience as his props!

This guy is tough to find info about....and we're really hoping he'll be on the performance schedule when we go in a few weeks.

I don't know who he is, but we have seen him and he did pull my son out from the crowd on our 2/03 trip. He was very funny. I do remember that his performance wasn't that long.

He was wonderful-very entertaining-I can't find any info on him anywhere.

The guy you are talking about is ROLAND. We make an effort to see him every trip...he really is funny. In the past, we have asked a cast member in or around France about his schedule...they usually know when he will appear. To our delight, this past December, we noted Roland made the official EPCOT schedule. It said Le Mime Roland and had the times listed.

ohioMickey, could you describe Rolands act for me?

I don't think it's the same one I'm looking for. I'm not looking for the man who does his mime routine wearing the classic white face...the one I'm looking for is a balloon artist, making balloon animals and hats that he then presents to the children in the audience.

Then again, maybe this Roland has several acts and this is just ONE of them! Hmmm.........

We just got back and saw him about 5-6 times! Some of the kids were sooo funny! My daughter couldn't get enough of him!

Roland is a mime in the sense that he does not talk. He does not wear white face paint. He plays music from a boom box and pretends he can't move his suitcase. Then he gets a child from the audience to move it around. He gets a girl and makes a balloon hat with a balloon flower. He makes a balloon nose... and sometimes he gets grown-ups to wear balloon lips.

He is hillarious. Is this the guy you are thinking of?

WOO HOOoooooooooo YESssssssssss but it doesn't match the picture of who they say it is on Steve Soares site. LOL
