Balloon balls ???

Anyone buy a balloon ball at Disney? I bought a couple for my boys.
Was told they come with one refill balloon inside the package.
Was told I had to buy refills.
Got home and found 4 refills in the packages.

I WAS MISLED !!!!!

Anyone else have the same experience?

Is this the way Disney intends to make extra money?

We're all confused, whether we know it or not.

I think the OP is upset that he was led to believe he needed to buy refills when he didn't. Yes, finding the extras is a nice bonus, but nobody likes to be told they need to buy something when in fact they didn't. Say you bought a basketball and the clerk told you that you needed to buy a pump from him, and when you got home you found out it already had a pump inside the box. Its hardly going to break you, but certainly you would have preferred to have the correct info, no?

That said, I HIGHLY doubt the CM intentionally misled him. It was most likely either a fluke, or the CM just had the wrong info.

I can understand that you are upset about being told wrong, but I would not be to upset as maybe they really do only come with one and you got the lucky one that came with four in it. And look at it this way, they will last you for a long, long time.

I don't disagree about the lack of significance of this particular "issue", but are you saying you don't mind when a person sells you something based on inaccurate information?

He didn't "find change in his pockets"... he bought something he didn't need because he was given bad info from the CM.

Again, not a significant event, but its not a "change in your pockets" situation either.

I bought DDs the Balzac balls and did not buy refills. They spent 3 months w/ no balls b/c the others had either given up or gotten lost, so I NEEDED the refills on our next trip! I think you were smart to buy them when you bought the "skin", myself.

I agree with the OP. If I buy something I don't need I would also be upset. Those balls could have been expensive. Then to have to pay for the refills that really are not needed is an extra expense. For some people that matters.

Did the OP actually purchase a set of refills? It was stated that he/she was TOLD you needed to buy refills, and did not say he/she actually did buy the refills? How's that for a little more confusion on the subject?
