ball game at Disney

Bought tickets for Houston Astros vs. Atlanta Braves at Wide World of Sports complex at disney. Anyone been there? How is parking? Good places to eat or just concession stands????

All I know is from what I have read on these boards. There is a very nice restaurant at the Sports complex. Can't comment on parking but I would guess that there is plenty. If you are interested in Disney transportation the only bus is from the Studios and stops at either 7 or 8pm. There are a few interactive things to do but not much.

I saw the Orlando Rays (they were the home team then) about 3 years ago and I really enjoyed it. They do have a few restaurants to eat in at the Wide World of Sports but I only ate at the concession stands as I ate before I went there . Parking is just like at the theme parks, plenty of spaces and you get a character and row number to remember. Have fun! x

They have some neat "food stands" that you can access from inside or out side of the park itself. Reminded me a Camden Yards a little.

There's a Sport type Bar but it is not inside the park.

Wear sunscreen, we toasted a little.

It is a beautiful field.

It's the best spring training park anywhere. I went there in 98, I seem to remember that it was a long walk from the parking lot to the stadium.
Have a great time, wish I was going too!

An unbelievable ball park! We saw the very first Brave's Game when it first opened. Real nostalgic feel to the place. Great seating, great lawn area. Concession stands, and just outside of the park is a All-Star Café Restaurant, typical bar-type menu.
