balcony or patio?

Something else we share. My only thing is that I have a sharp fear of heights, so it needs to be a fairly wide balcony or I'd never be able to actually go out onto it. At least I'd have a good view, though!

Love our rear patio...it's fenced, is way bigger than any balcony could ever be and has a gate that gives us direct access to the street; very handy for packing stuff into the house. Our last place had a balcony - we definitely prefer the patio.
