I've wanted to make meringues forever and just saw an ad on tv for Merry Meringues at www.kraftfoods.com. I pulled up the recipe, printed it and now I'm ready to have these goodies melt in my mouth. Is there an alternative to lining the pan with parchment paper? A former neighbor used a brown paper bag to make hers, don't know if I should/could do that. What about Reynolds Release? Wax Paper? Something else?

I think brown paper will work...but I haven't tried that.
I use foil for all my cookies and lightly spray with nonstick coating.

Do you think that would affect the meringue, causing it to droop?
