Bake sale help needed!!

Jumbo chocolate chip cookies - $1-2

(although I think putting smaller ones, 4 for $1 are good too)

Mini Banana bread - $2-3

We just had one Saturday for band the mini loaves of pumpkin and banana nut bread went very well. We also sold whole pies and sugar cookies that were shaped like ghosts, pumpkins and a football one with our local NFL team on them all went over great. Also pumpkin iced cookies and pumpkin drop cookies were a big seller. We had a lot of chocolate covered pretzels left over that were topped with different things and cookies.

Found this thread on a Bing search (maybe that is why a lot of older threads get popped up??) and am bumping it up!

We are having a bake sale in 3 weeks.

What would you charge for JUMBO chocolate chip cookies? Like 5-6" across.

Also, how about mini banana bread. Like 2" x 4"?

And what are your favorite items to purchase at bake sales?

Right now I have only made :

Banana Bread (2" x 4")
Banana Bread w/ butterscotch chips (2" x 4")
Banana Bread w/ chocolate chips (2" x 4")
Jumbo Peanut Butter Cookies (4" circle)
Jumbo Peanut Butter Cookies w/ chocolate chips (4" circle)
Jumbo Chocolate Chip Cookies (5" - 6" circle)

I also plan on making for sure Jumbo Snickerdoodles and Jumbo Sugar Cookies.

We sold the mini loaves of bread for 3.00 our best seller was banana and pumpkin and cookies were 3 for 1.00. Everyone seemed to like the small breads more than the bigger ones.

Right now I have a dozen of the various breads. I will make the sugar cookies smaller, but the rest of the cookies I think I will make jumbo size.

I found a great cookbook yesterday at the library and have a bunch of wonderful recipes to try out.

I just need to clean out the garage freezer so I can store the goodies!
