DD 10 AKA "I will find a seat at Fantasmic."
DD 6 AKA What I'm not a princess?"

Day 1 June 28th: We drove from central Ill and stopped at Ocala, so this am,we were up early and into Orlando at 1030 am but wait it did take an hour to go down I-92.So we did'nt officially arrive to CBR until around 1130.We waited abot 20 minutes to check in and was greeted by Latasha. She was from New York on the college work progarm and she was fabulous!!We had to pay off our room( which I got for a steal with a post card for 84/night for waterview room),pay for our e-ride ticketand our Luau tickets and we did so using various payment metods(check, cash and traverlers checks). She didn't bat an eye,she handled everything so smooth,She did'nt ask for the post card but I did show it to her.She said she did'n t need it.We got our room assignment and she said wait "where do you want to be?I told her Trinidad north or Martinique and she worked her magic and we got a fabulous beach view room in Trinidad north, that also happened to be clean and ready. They had us originally at Trinidad south, which seemed to far away from the main action. We were in 3229 on the first floor.
We unpacked, got our swimsuits on and headed to Typhoon Lagoon.A bus was there I'd say in less than 10 minutes. We got lucky this trip bus waits were never over 10-15 minutes coming or going. Our room was fairly close to the bus stop also.We rode the family raft ride 2 times.Beware you must roll your raft about 75 feet up stairs on a hill.My DH did shark reef and he enjoyed that.We then split.Me and DD 6 stayed in the wave pool and Dh and DD10 did some of the slides. They enjoyed it but said some of the waits were'nt worth it.We stayed about 4 hours and was getting tired. One recommendation apply sunscreen and lots of It!!!I saw many people who were going to be in some serious pain that night. We kept sunscreen at our chair and I probably re-applied it 4-5 times. We did rent locker and you can get a souvenier mug or 2$ refund if you return the key.We chose the mug because it was cute with Nemo on it.We then caught the bus back and took a nap. That night we went to the Boardwalk and ate at ESPN,it seemed like it would be a long wait by the line but was only about 20 minutes. They had a live broad cast and my DH got to pose a question to the players from the Jacksonville NFL rookie players. We then headed to the Beaches and Cream. This is where the trip went south. We were hot and tired and BC was packed. We left without getting anything. We did look around the Swan,Dolpin and Yacht and Beach Clubs.I don't think I cared for Y &BC but the S&D looked nice, plus I can qualify for the nurse discounts. The Boardwalk was having a Dis ney Adventure magazine carnival? with games and music and bike tricks from BMXers it made the Boardwalk come alive and parking a nightmare but we had a good meal and I got to check out future possble resort choices.Day 2 Epcot and MK coming soon.

Great first day and you were so lucky to get the exact room location and have it be ready for you.

I bet you all slept really well that night :)

Looking forward to day 2 +++

I hope I get a post card. We just stayed the first time onsite this past Easter and I want to go in the off season and I am looking for some great rates. I hope they have the Fairy Tale Package again next year.
