Our trip was wonderful! It was better than I would have ever imagined. I knew it would be magical, but it was much more than magical!
We got up about 4:00 a.m. on the day we left. We were determined to be early because rushing makes Bailee really stressed out. We left the house at 5:45 a.m. I was impressed that we were not running late!

We had breakfast on the way to the airport. We made our way to the parking lot and jumped on the bus for the airport. Everything went smoothly until Landon and I set off the security alarms. He was hooked up to his feeding tube and the pump set off the alarms. However, they had to check both of us before we could continue. We arrived at our gate at 8:00 a.m. Our flight was not until 9:50 a.m. Here is a picture of the three kids waiting for our flight.
Our flight was about 2 1/2 hours long. They all did pretty well. However, Bailee told me she was done with flying about 5 minutes into the flight. She was not having fun. I took snacks for everyone and we had a bag full of goodies to occupy our time. Landon fell asleep at the exact moment the plane hit the ground in Florida. We met our greeter from GKTW soon after we got off the plane. Here is a picture of Bailee and her greeter.
We got our rental car...a Dodge Grand Caravan and off we went to find our "Home Away From Home" for the next week. We arrived about 2 hours after our flight landed.
Daddy and Landon got in the van while the girls and I hopped on the golf cart with a GKTW volunteer to go to the Villa.
We were in Villa #184 right behind the theater. It was walking distance from most the things at GKTW.
The gift fairy left the first of many gifts for the kids to enjoy when we arrived. The kids had fun looking at all the fun things!
Here are some pictures of our villa.

We were all starving since it was now 3:50 p.m. They said we could order lunch if we ordered it before 4:00 p.m. We ordered Katie's Kitchen and it was yummy!
Stay tuned for more fun from day 1.....
