Hey

We are going on the dream in December and our excursions etc come out today

Just looked it up $204 dollars for the water park at Atlantis hotel đŸ˜± quite expensive,

We were only going to spend a few hours there as we want to enjoy the ship

I looked up the beach only and even that’s $98

Is the aquarium free

I was wondering do you need a pass to go into this resort. Can I not go to one of the bars there etc with out a pass

Last night I was looking at the 'cheaper' (under $100) Disney excursions at Nassau as we are undecided as to whether we'll leave the ship in Nassau when we go next summer...it's also DH's birthday, so he will be the ultimate decider--this cruise is mainly about enjoying a 'new to us' ship and going to Castaway Cay for the first time (hopefully!) The "Discover Atlantis" one is $68/person which covers the 25 minute narrated transport there (and transport back) and a 45 minute guided tour of the aquarium part of Atlantis. The rest of the time is up to you to wander around, go to casino/bars, etc--just not the beach or water parks. Looks like they have shuttles picking up every 1/2 hr at some point. I then checked the Atlantis site to see how much the Aquarium part is--they offer a "Discover Atlantis" day pass for $39, which includes a self guided tour of the aquarium/dig area...I didn't check to see if that included tax as I didn't go so far as to actually 'book' it. I assume you could just take a taxi there to enjoy the casino/bars/shops as well.

I haven't been there in a long time- but I took a taxi to the beach with my family, and we did a few jet ski rides with a vendor there. (I wouldn't do that again- I just didn't like it). We went to the straw market first, I think, on that trip.
The taxi is pretty cheap, if you don't want to do an excursion with the ship.

The aquarium is not tree. You can go to the resort and eat at the restaurants, shop and go to the casino for free.
