What did you use to protect your stroller, car seat, pack-n-play etc when you flew? I have seen those bags that are like woven plastic and they have a plaid design on them but have no clue what they are called. I would rather not dish out much money but do want something to cover the kid's gear.

Thanks! :)

We are going to use Disney's pac and play as its just one less thing we need to take with us. For our stroller Im worried about the cupholders breaking so we are taking those off and putting them in our carryon luggage and using a bungy cord to keep our stroller closed ( Gracco Quattro Tour) since Ive read on here many times that the lock on it comes open, heck its even done it in the car. Some Airlines provide Giant plastic bags for you to put the strollers/golfculbs ect in. We are just going to use that if available and the bungy.

I was able to get car seat bags from Toys R Us for about $20 ea. I have two of them and share them with my friends. Great for lugging the seat through the airport or when checking it in. You can pack the bag full of diapers as well and not have to use valuable suitcase space. I also used a "modified" christmas tree bag for my jogger ($10- Lowes?). It looked hideous but it was cost effective. :) I have had one stroller and one car seat ruined by the airlines and I really wanted my jogger with me. When I checked the bag they looked at me a bit crosseyed :) but when I explained it was a stroller I did not want damaged the airline had no problem with it.
